At the end of the course you will have in-depth and structured knowledge ready for practical application in the nanny profession. This will help you to maximise your career opportunities in childcare, family adaptation and develop a plan for you to achieve your goals.
The Dream Nanny Academy offers 3 formats:
“Express Course” is listening to recorded video lectures for theoretical and practical knowledge and testing for each module.
“Basic Level” is about attending online seminars with experienced experts and sharing experiences, watching video lectures, studying practice checklists and testing for each module.
“Professional level” – training in a mini-group with experts, attending online seminars and watching video lectures, detailed analysis of topics and practical tasks, testing after each module. Individual development plan with an experienced mentor.
To access lectures and workshops, you fill out and submit a “Training Request”, after which our administrator will contact you and invite you to a closed group of participants. You receive an invitation to an introductory lecture with experienced tutors and form questions you would like to know the answers to during the training. Then you follow the programme at the chosen level and receive a certificate after testing.
Depending on the training package selected, you may be able to explore the topic on your own using recorded video lectures or a saved seminar. This will not be possible in the Express Course format, so we recommend that you choose the right level for your learning. The advantage of working with a tutor is that you can personally review each topic in a mini-group and consolidate what you have learnt.
Payment in two instalments for 2 months is allowed only when purchasing the “Professional Level”. For the other two packages (“Express” and “Basic”) this option is not available due to the group format of training. However, if you have paid for the course and are unable to attend the seminars, you retain the right to join the next training stream for 3 months.
In the distance learning “express course” format, you retain the right to view the lectures at your convenience for 3 months, and repeat the material as many times as you need. It is important to pass the test after each module in order to receive a certificate.
After submitting your ‘Request for Training’, you are invited to attend an introductory lecture to meet the course instructors and group members. This will help to create a comfortable atmosphere and learn more about the programme and training format. Communication takes place online, the date and time will be announced in a closed group.
Most parents are looking for an experienced nanny for their child who has undergone specialised training and has the necessary skills and knowledge. At the CV review stage, special attention is paid to the education and additional knowledge you can gain from a nanny governess course. If you are just planning to start a career as a nanny, it is important to have basic training in childcare, safety and subordination rules, and first aid. For this reason, parents are more likely to choose a nanny with specialised education than candidates who act intuitively, without theoretical and practical training.
By prior consent of participants, we plan to record online seminars. Access to the video is possible upon your individual request to the Academy administrator, in case you miss some topics, but not on a permanent basis. Basic and professional level provides for group training, sharing experience, which is different from the express course, where you study on your own, listening to lectures in a recording
Yes, you can purchase a gift certificate for your friends or colleagues to receive training. To do this, you need to pay for the selected package and provide a receipt with the participant’s details to the Academy administrator.
